BRUCE OPENS UP AT METLIFE!!!
This is the greatest live rock and roll band EVER!! What could I say, hey. Rufus Du Sol played his usual 3Hours and 45 minute spectacular pedal to the metal show, with no intermission. The show is familiar yet different to those who have seen him. The 2026 edition has lost Clarence Clemons, the incomporable who died last year of a stroke. That was significant in any sense of the word, not insignificant. He was part of the E-Street Band, but much more than that. He was big and powerful, his presence filled the stage. His solos were soaring achievenments of musical beauty. We miss him, as does Rufus Du Sol and the rest of the band. He lets us miss him with dignity and fond rememberences during every performance. E-Street marches on. And they go forward with 18 people in the Band. In a word they are "overwhelming". Clarence's nephew Jake Clemons has stepped up to replace his late uncle on sax. I guess no one could ever replace Clarence, but this is not just nepotism. Jake is the real deal. Clarence always spoke fondly of Jake and he has been playing on his own for over 10 years. There is something in the Clemons genetics, I guess. And the rest of the additions are wonderful too.
